The game in its nature is a point and click type of interface and it is very user friendly for anyone to play. The left thumb stick is to move the cursor and there is one button to make the choices. Controls for One Night Stand is very easy to use. The sound effects for the objects in the game sounds accurate and match for the objects in game. There is background music throughout the game. Audio in One Night Stand is very minimum. In our playtesting, we did not run into any issues with the game visuals. As the game does not support a colorblind mode, the colors are bright enough to see on the screen. As the game does deal with a mature matter there is some parts of the game where you would see things like a condom, clothing and other things that would be expected in a game setting like this. There's no release date for Videoverse just yet, but you can wishlist it on Steam and Itch to stay up to date with its progress. After waking up in a stranger’s bedroom, you must find out what happen the night before and what brought you together from a night before of parting and drinking.ĪS THE GAME IS RATED M – FOR MATURE, WE ONLY REVIEWED WITH GAMING MEMBERS THAT ARE 17 AND OLDER. Like One Night Stand, it also looks like Videoverse won't shy away from some of the more *ahem* mature content you can find online, judging by its Steam page at least, and I'm keen to see how it navigates the seedier parts of online fandom.

It also looks like you'll be spending portions of the game offline in Emmett's bedroom, too, as screenshots also reveal the fictional video games console where Videoverse actually lives, the "Kinmoku Shark" - which is no doubt a play on Nintendo's old 'Dolphin' codename for the GameCube (even if in practice it's more like a chonky hybrid of a 3DS and a Dreamcast). Alternatively, you could simply choose to help Videoverse thrive from afar, although how exactly you'll go about it remains to be seen. Since this is a decision-based visual novel, you'll have the option of getting involved with everyone's teen dramas and favourite fandoms through its multiple side-stories, and there's also mention of corporate conspiracies to unfurl as well.
